Our approach to childcare is to "bring out" the unlimited potential that children are born with. We value children's "want to" and encourage them to play and learn independently. Our concept is not to have the teachers take the initiative and make the children do things they do not want to do. We nurture non-cognitive skills such as curiosity, self-affirmation, creativity, social skills, and thinking skills through active learning in which children are immersed in play and learning on their own initiative.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY IN AN ABUNDANT OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

At JISPP, children play outside every day on a huge playground of approximately 700 square meters. When children are immersed in play, their brains are most active and they learn a lot. In Phnom Penh, where natural playgrounds are disappearing, JISPP places great importance on outdoor playtime and provides it to children.

Independence in basic lifestyle habits is the first step toward future independence

At JISPP, we encourage independence in eating, dressing, undressing, toileting, and other basic lifestyle habits from infancy through a Japanese-style environment and childcare.
